Mid-Autumn Festival Brings School Community Together in Celebration

Our school community came together to mark the Mid-Autumn Festival with a series of meaningful activities.
The festivities began with a Moon Gazing Night on 4th October, co-hosted by the National Education Committee and the Parent-Teacher Association. Over 40 families took part, enjoying mooncakes, lantern riddles and Chinese knot-tying in a warm and festive atmosphere.
In class, the Chinese Department guided Secondary 3 students in exploring Su Shi’s celebrated Song dynasty poem 《水調歌頭·明月幾時有》, deepening their understanding of the festival’s cultural significance.
The Learning Support Committee added to the spirit of celebration by organising a lunchtime fair on 6th October, where festival-themed game stalls brought teachers and students together in joyful participation. These events captured the essence of the Mid-Autumn Festival- cherishing togetherness and strengthening the bonds within our school community.<br>
