20240628 – Speech Day and Lantern Passing Ceremony
On the 28th June, our school held the annual Speech Day and Lantern Passing Ceremony, capping off another year of accomplishments for our S6 girls.
The highlight of the event was the inspiring speech delivered by our esteemed guest, Dr. Lo Hau Yi. As the S6 graduates received their graduation certificates from Dr. Lo, she imparted valuable wisdom and encouragement to the S6 girls embarking on the next chapter of their lives.
The Lantern Passing Ceremony that followed was a touching display of the school’s tradition. The S6 graduates solemnly passed the torch to the S5 students, symbolizing the transfer of knowledge, responsibility, and the True Light spirit.
Our Principal Dr. Mui also announced the formation of the Permanent Yao Association, a platform for former students to stay connected, share their experiences, and contribute to the school’s continued growth and success. We wish our S6 graduates the very best as they embark on their next journey and express our deepest gratitude to all the guests and parents for participating in this event.
