True Light Girls’ College 50th Anniversary Life Planning Sharing Day
True Light Girls’ College 50th Anniversary Life Planning Sharing Day was held on 18th March 2023 to commemorate the milestone – 50th anniversary of True Light Girls’ College. The Day aimed to provide a platform for our S4 and S5 students to learn about careers in different industries from our notable alumnae, establishing the importance of career and life planning. The Day comprised two celebratory events, including the Opening Ceremony and Parallel Sharing Sessions. The Opening Ceremony commenced with an inspirational speech presented by our Principal Mr. Tam Kim Hung, who welcomed the notable alumnae to participate in this meaningful moment and give our students valuable advice on career and life planning. It was followed by the welcome speech of students representatives and souvenir presentation to our alumnae. We were also honoured to have invited Dr. Tam Yuen Shan, Dorothy, a paediatric specialist in the private sector, as our keynote speaker in the end of the ceremony to share her career journey.
After the Opening Ceremony, our students attended the Parallel Sharing Sessions in which our alumnae shared their life and work experiences with our students. The programme was very well received by our S4 and S5 students as it enriched their career-related experiences and gave more insights into their life planning.
