The Social Innovation Community 4.0 Competition – Taipei Social Innovation Trip Featured in Hong Kong Economic Times
Three alumnae and four S6 students represented the School and participated in the Taipei Social Innovation Trip organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service in August. The trip was part of the recognition the students received as they were named the Champions of the 2nd and 3rd “Social Innovation • Community 4.0” competition. Besides our representatives, winners of the 4th and 5th competition, namely Hong Kong Sze Yap Commercial and Industrial Association Wong Tai Shan Memorial College and St. Paul’s Secondary School, also took part in the trip.
The 5-day trip focused on the theme “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. Students had the opportunity to visit and learn from various social enterprises and institutions in Taiwan, understanding how sustainable development are practiced and demonstrated in environmental, economical, and societal aspects.
Our students’ experience was featured twice in the Hong Kong Economic Times published on 22 and 29 September 2023.
