True Light Girls’ College was established in 1973 by the Kowloon True Light Middle School Management Board, with the assistance of the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China, to commemorate the centenary of the True Light Alma Mater, to realise the vision of the True Light founder, Harriet Noyes, for developing girls’ education, and to meet the need of providing quality education with English as the learning and teaching medium in Hong Kong. A new era of school development came when the school new annex came into operation in 2006.
Great endeavour has been made to foster the religious atmosphere in school. Accompanied with classroom teaching, many evangelistic activities have been organised, including the Gospel Week, gospel training sessions, regular Student Fellowship meetings, Summer Camp and religious assemblies, to name a few. These activities enable students to experience the love of God, understand the words from God vividly, enrich their understanding towards Jesus Christ and nurture the impalpable love in our campus.
God sacrificed his beloved son, Jesus Christ, to clean the sins of mankind and bring peace and restoration to the broken relationship between God and us. Immersed in such unreserved love from God, we are determined to deem propagating the truth of love and bringing salvation to everyone in True Light as our ultimate mission.
