Exchange Activities between the Mainland Higher Education Exhibition Delegation and Hong Kong Secondary Schools for the 2025/26 School Year
Starting in the 2012/13 school year, the Ministry of Education implemented the “Mainland Higher Education Institutions Admission Scheme for Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination Students” (the “Diploma Examination Admission Scheme”).
To help students, teachers, and parents understand the details of the Scheme, as well as information about the participating mainland institutions and the latest developments in mainland education, the Education Bureau and the Ministry of Education organised a delegation from mainland universities to visit our school. This initiative aims to facilitate direct communication with teachers, students, and parents, allowing the delegation to better understand the experiences of secondary school graduates in Hong Kong. At the same time, it provides Hong Kong students, teachers, and parents with a deeper understanding of the overall situation of mainland universities.
The session was attended by all S4 students, about 30 parents and a few teachers from other school. This event not only facilitated valuable interactions among students, parents, and educators but also provided insights into the “Diploma Examination Admission Scheme,” helping participants make informed decisions about future educational pathways.
