On 2nd May, 2025, our school celebrated its 52nd Anniversary with a joyous Thanksgiving Service. We were honoured to have Mr. Yu Kin Keung, J.P., the District Officer of the Yau Tsim Mong District, and Mr. Fong Yick Jin, Chairman of the Committee on Home-School Co-operation, join our school managers as guests of honour.
The highlight of the event was an inspiring address by Rev. Dr. Chan Hoi Yan, President of the Chinese Mission Seminary. In her speech, Rev. Dr. Chan elucidated “The Power of Grit”, emphasising how everyone encounters challenges and failures while striving towards their goals, and how grit empowers us to overcome obstacles and setbacks.
The event also featured the S1 Yao Association Inauguration Ceremony. The form association aims to cultivate a spirit of solidarity and a sense of belonging among our new students. The ceremony began with an encouraging speech from our alumna, Ms. Wong Yin Ching. Following this, the S1 students took the stage, showcasing their diverse talents through captivating performances in singing, dancing, drama and choral speaking in both English and Putonghua. The parents and guests were greatly impressed by the poise and confidence of these young performers.
