On the 7^th and 11^th March, the school Drama Club staged two English drama performances in the school hall for more than 400 students and teachers. The club presented Evidence, an adaptation of science-fiction writer Issac Asimov’s short story of the same name. The play invited students to reflect on technological development and the moral and ethical questions raised by artificial intelligence. In addition to the performance itself, students took part in a series of in pre-performance activities and a post-performance trivia contest, which introduced notable science-fiction writers and works, encouraging reading beyond the curriculum.

On 9^th March, the school playground served as the venue for the highly anticipated Student-Teacher-Parent Dodgeball Match. As part of the Fun and Fit Friday campaign, the event brought together student representatives from S1 to S5, eight exchange students from Pope Paul VI College, and a spirited group of teachers and parents. The event successfully promoted fitness while strengthening the school community.

To celebrate the Chinese New Year, the Citizenship and Social Development Department, in collaboration with various subjects and committees, organised a vibrant fun fair titled 「真光飛躍迎新春」 in the school hall on 10 and 11 February 2026.

The event featured a captivating performance by our Chinese Orchestra, alongside a variety of game booths. Students enjoyed quizzes on Lunar New Year traditions, festive handicraft-making, and the traditional art of Spring Couplet writing. The fair received an enthusiastic response, with both staff and students learning more about traditional Chinese festivals and thoroughly enjoying the joyful and festive atmosphere.

On 16^th and 17^th December, 2025, fifty S.4 Geography students participated in a productive half-day field study at the Mai Po Nature Reserve, organized by WWF Hong Kong. The students explored the wetlands to observe various species of migratory birds in their natural habitat.

The fieldwork included conducting field measurements and using microscopes to examine plankton, providing students with practical insights into the wetland ecosystem. During the investigation, the students also demonstrated proactive environmental stewardship by collecting litter along the reserve’s footpaths. The trip successfully combined academic data collection with a commitment to conservation.

The Geography Society hosted an engaging DIY Terrarium Workshop during lunchtime on 12^th December.

This creative, hands-on event offered students from S.1 to S.5 a unique opportunity to construct their own miniature, self-sustaining ecosystems within glass containers. The workshop was designed to enhance students’ environmental awareness and nurture their curiosity about natural processes.

With soothing, nature-themed background music setting a relaxing mood, all participants thoroughly enjoyed the session as they meticulously crafted and personalised their terrariums.

The “Talents of the World”, a cultural event jointly organised by the Gifted Education Committee and NCS Students Education Working Group was successfully held in the school hall during lunch breaks on 9^th and 10^th December. Over 300 students attended the two-day event, enjoying a rich celebration of cultural diversity.

The programme featured a wide array of performances, including Nepali, Japanese, and Korean dances, and songs in Tamil, Arabic, Filipino, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, English, and Hindi.

This initiative provided a valuable platform for students to showcase their talents and gain a deeper understanding of diverse cultures, proving to be an enriching experience for all involved.
